We have the pleasure of living, working and ringing on the beautiful Tablelands of the Central West NSW, Australia.
The Bathurst tower was opened in 2009 in a wonderful celebration involving ringers from all over the country.
The Bathurst Bell Tower is rare and special in many ways. It is predominantly glass and is one of the few bell towers positioned directly opposite a functioning Carillion.
Renowned Bathurst architect Henry Bialowas was presented with the The Australian Institute of Architects for Non-residential Architecture Alterations and Additions Award in 2010 for his design of the tower.
The Bathurst Bell Tower comes from the small family of glass bell towers worldwide including St Martin’s Belltower in Basildon, Essex and the Swan Belltower in Perth, Western Australia.
